  • The Louisiana SPCA, New Orleans' animal control agency, has begun rescuing pets from
    owner's houses.
    Owners have to call or email the operation and give their name and
    address and information about where the pet is confined.
    The hotline number is: 1-225-578-6111. 
    E-mail should be sent to  Katrinaanimalrescue@yahoo.com.

  • AKC - Dog clubs, shelters or individuals in need of assistance are asked to contact Seekhelp@akc.org or 1-800-252-7894.

I saw where you were trying to keep up with a list of supplies offered for Boxers.

We have 7 or 8 large crates and water buckets and feeding bowls, etc that we will be glad to let people have . I can probably get some dog food donated by a local producer also. Let me know where I should try to get them delivered if needed.
