2. In the first paragraph of the Standard, the ideal Boxer is described. The revised version substitutes the word “sturdy” for the word “good” (sturdy substance instead of good substance) in an attempt to maintain consistency with the use of the word “sturdy” as used in the section on Size (Height), Proportion, Substance. Also, the word “elegance” has been changed to “grace” in the first paragraph (agility with grace and style) to be consistent with the wording which describes the neck (elegant arch) and the use of the word “grace” as used in the revision to describe the “graceful curve” of the tapering from the width of the skull to the root of the muzzle.
A. I agree with using Sturdy and Grace. B. I would keep the words Good and Elegance as in the current Standard C. I suggest other wording.
