Our National promises to be
more exciting and informational than ever this year (which some people
consider the real first year of the new Millenium :-), with a Health Seminar
on SAS by Dr. Bruce Cattanach, British geneticist and boxer breeder, and affordable
echocardiograms to clear your dog of SAS done by noted cardiologist, Dr. Luis Braz-Ruivo.
With the untimely
"demise" of the new Kansas City show site, choice of an alternate
center-of-the-country show site will also be on the agenda. The board has tentatively
selected The Abbey at Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Representatives of The Abbey will attend the
ABC in Frederick to answer questions and review our requirements. Be an educated consumer

Class & Award Winners!
Pat and I have been there
ourselves, so we know that nothing is more thrilling than a class win or award at the ABC
Specialty. If you should be so fortunate as to win a class or receive one of the major
awards (Best Puppy, Best Junior, WD, WB, High In Trial, a qualifying score in Obedience or
Agility, etc.) in the Futurity, Specialty, or Obedience or Agility Trials, we will publish
your boxer’s picture along with a listing of his/her win or award in the ABC Issue of
BU (tentative publication date - June).
Our FREE AD offer also applies
to the winners of the ABC Annual Awards, and to dogs and bitches that receive a new SOM,
DOM, or LOM award at the 2001 ABC. Send your photos to me as a jpg file to
